Regeneration

by Virgin Mobile

Regeneration is an incentive by Virgin Mobile Canada, that provides less fortunate youth with the training they need to find—and keep—jobs.

The challenge we faced was telling the story of Regeneration, show how it impacts the community and motivate people to help out, anyway they can.

We started by restructuring the page in Wireframes. There needed to be a clear narrative that would help users understand the problem, and what Regeneration is doing to solve it.

The existing page was very text-heavy and lacked any sort of visual hierarchy. The main CTAs were buried within the content, explaining why there was little interaction with the page.

Our approach was to make the page more visual by including images and separating the content into different blocks that came together to tell the story of Regeneration. This made the page more scanable and less intimidating for users.

Aesthetically the page needed to be consistent with the website’s UI, while including branding elements from Regeneration. We accomplished this through color, imagery and subtle nods to the logo like the rips at the bottom of each section.

In terms of results, the new page generated a significant increase in interaction, when comparing with the previous version.

More awareness was created for this awesome incentive and more people are helping out everyday to solve a major issue that affects the whole world.
