My Story

Virgin Mobile Canada

Lead UX/UI Designer

Back to the roots, designing great experiences from start to finish for Virgin Mobile Members. My 9 to 5 in the 6—that’s Drake for Toronto—consists in wireframing, user testing, designing user interfaces and prototyping.

2014 — 2016

Tribal Worldwide DDB

Senior UX Designer

Aside from Spanish, I learned a lot at Tribal Spain. Although, I would say my biggest takeaway was how to be an advocate for User Experience on huge projects with a lot of people involved. Some of the brands I had worked with include Google, Change.org and BBVA.

2013 — 2014

Effective Talk

Back to the basics. Effective Talk was my official introduction to User Experience. It is here where I learned how to see a design project through from start to finish. In other words, from the research stages to the last lines of code.

2012 — 2013

J. Walter Thompson

Community Manager

My internship at J. Walter Thompson can be summed up in 4 words: beer and ice cream. It was my first encounter with online marketing, working as a Community Manager for Corona Extra and Nestlé.

2008 — 2011

University of Aveiro

New Communication Technology

After high school I packed my bags and moved to Portugal. My passion for communication and design led to a Bachelor’s degree in New Communication Technology at the University of Aveiro.

Made in Canada

My story started in Canada where flaunting a plaid shirt is a matter of heritage. It’s no surprise I ended up in advertising.
